What will you be doing as a maintenance work planner?
At Brightnewday , we Brightnewday people + technology. Our engineers and consultants work with manufacturing companies to improve the efficiency of their installations, reduce downtime, and develop smarter processes. We are looking for a Maintenance Work Planner who enjoys working closely with the production line and thrives on bringing structure to maintenance.
As a Maintenance Work Planner, you ensure that technicians can do their work properly and safely. You:
- Convert fault reports and maintenance requests into clear work orders and act as the ambassador for this working method within the organization.
- Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance in consultation with production and technical services.
- Determines the necessary materials, tools, and man-hours per task.
- Ensures that spare parts are ordered and available on time.
- Follows work orders from start to finish and monitors progress and turnaround times.
- Analyzes recurring malfunctions and contributes ideas for structural solutions.
- Helps to set up or improve maintenance plans and routes.
- Works in a maintenance system (CMMS/EAM) and ensures correct data entry.
- Contributes to safe work practices (work permits, lockout/tagout, etc.).
Are you the bright innovator we are looking for?
- Technical degree in electromechanics, maintenance engineering, or a related field.
- Initial experience in a production environment (food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, metal, mechanical engineering, etc.).
- At least a few years of experience in a maintenance environment (as a technician, work planner, scheduler, or similar).
- You can read technical plans, P&IDs, and manuals.
- You are familiar with a CMMS/EAM system or are willing to quickly learn how to use one.
- You communicate easily with both technicians on the floor and with production and management.
- You are hands-on, analytical, and dare to suggest improvements.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
- Flexible mindset.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
