Are you a techie with a passion for innovation? Do you thrive in dynamic and challenging environments, always looking for ways to push the boundaries of what is possible? Do you want to contribute to the technological revolution? Then we invite you to join our team.
What will you be doing as a maintenance coordinator?
At Brightnewday , we combine people + technology. Our engineers and maintenance specialists support manufacturing companies in:
- less downtime
- more efficient installations
- smart and structured maintenance
As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will work on Brightnewday for partners in the manufacturing or process industry. You will be close to the shop floor, but at the same time have an eye on the bigger picture. And you will be part of our community of Bright Innovators, who share knowledge and help each other move forward.
- You coordinate daily maintenance activities (corrective, preventive, improvement maintenance).
- You balance priorities between production and maintenance: what needs to be done now, what can wait until later?
- You translate fault reports and maintenance requirements into clear work orders.
- You schedule jobs, taking into account the availability of people, lines, and resources.
- You brief technicians before the job and provide good feedback afterwards.
- You ensure safety, quality, and compliance with procedures and work permits.
- You monitor downtime, malfunctions, and recurring problems and report back to the maintenance or reliability engineer.
- You work with a maintenance system (CMMS/EAM) and ensure correct and complete registration.
- You contribute ideas about improvements in maintenance processes, spare parts management, and collaboration with production.
In short: you ensure that the technical department knows what needs to be done and when, and that everyone is on the same page.
Are you the bright innovator we are looking for?
You like structure, clarity, and clear agreements, but you also have your feet firmly on the ground.
Furthermore:
- You have a technical degree (e.g., electromechanics, maintenance engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience.
- You have experience in a production environment (food, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, metal, mechanical engineering, etc.).
- You have already worked in or around maintenance (as a technician, foreman, work planner, scheduler, or coordinator).
- You can understand technical information and translate it into practical actions.
- You communicate easily with technicians, operators, foremen, and management.
- You can set priorities, even when it's busy and multiple lines are "calling."
- You work in a structured and accurate manner, and you quickly identify areas for improvement.
- Experience with a CMMS/EAM system is a plus, or you will quickly learn how to set it up/use it.
