What will you be doing as a mechanical engineer at Brightnewday?
You design mechanical components for projects at companies in the high-tech mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and process industries. Sometimes that involves working with tolerances of tenths of a millimeter; other times, it involves designing a structure that must withstand years of use in a dusty, vibrating factory environment. You maintain your documentation, consult with the people who build and use the components, and are accountable for your design decisions.
You will:
- Designing mechanical components and structures, ranging from high-precision to robust
- Justify your design choices and keep the documentation organized
- Collaborating with clients, operators, technicians, and fellow engineers
- Moving Your Project Forward, Even When the Answer Isn't Clear Yet
