Brightnewday was founded in 2021 by entrepreneurs Hans van Hoeckel and Kris Vandebriel. Their motivation? To build an engineering firm with the ambition to contribute to people, the market, and society through technological innovation. In 2026, Ivan Aerts joined the company as a co-owner. Since then, he has been working alongside Hans and Kris to further that ambition, with a focus on Brightnewday Consulting. They do this with a deep understanding of technology and strategic insight, a pragmatic approach, and a people-centered, long-term perspective.
