Do you give manufacturing processes more brains with people + technology?

Are you a techie with a passion for innovation? Do you thrive in dynamic and challenging environments, always looking for ways to push the boundaries of what is possible? Do you want to contribute to the technological revolution? Then we invite you to join our team.
What will you do as an automation engineer?
Are you enthusiastic about rotating production lines, PLCs, robots, and data? Can you immediately see which steps can be automated or made smarter? And do you want to make an impact at companies where every second of downtime counts? Then you may be the Bright Innovator we are looking for as an Automation Engineer.
You ensure that machines and installations run smarter, more stable, and more efficiently. Depending on the project:
- Analyze your existing processes and installations and contribute ideas for automation solutions.
- Program and parameterize your PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and/or motion/drive systems.
- Will you help automate new machines and production lines?
- Test your new software and installations (FAT/SAT), perform commissioning, and supervise start-up.
- Connect your machines and systems (e.g., with MES/ERP, data acquisition, dashboards).
- Support you in fault analysis and make suggestions for improvement.
- You will work closely with fellow engineers, maintenance, production, and external partners.
In short: you are the link between hardware, software, and the people on the floor.
Are you the bright innovator we are looking for?
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field (electromechanics, automation, electronics-ICT, industrial engineering, etc.)
- First experience as an automation engineer / software engineer / commissioning engineer or strong internship/project experience
- Knowledge of one or more PLC/HMI environments (e.g., Siemens, Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.)
- Understanding of industrial networks and protocols (Profibus/Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, etc.) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- You can communicate easily with operators, technicians, and engineers.
- You work independently and in a structured manner, but you are also a team player.
- Flexible mindset: different sector, different site, new project? You see that as an opportunity to learn.
- Interest in topics such as data, Industry 4.0, MES, robotics, etc. is a plus.
